The plain-English rules for using heyolive — no legalese, just what you need to know.
Last updated: July 2026
heyolive builds and hosts a website for your business. You pay a monthly fee, you can cancel anytime, and your content is always yours. Here's the detail behind that.
New accounts get a 7-day free trial covering one site. Build it, try it, show it to people. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, we'll charge the card on file and your subscription starts.
You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, your site stays live through the end of the billing period you already paid for — we don't do partial-month refunds for canceling early.
After that, we don't delete your site right away. It's paused, not erased — we keep it for at least 30 days in case you change your mind or want to grab your content. After that window, inactive sites may eventually be removed.
The words, photos, and business info you put into your site belong to you. You can export your content at any time, and you can take your domain with you if you leave.
heyolive hosts your site on our infrastructure. We may suspend or take down a site that contains illegal content, or that we reasonably believe puts other customers or heyolive at risk. We'll always try to reach out first if that ever happens.
heyolive is provided as-is. We work hard to keep things fast and reliable, but we can't promise the service will be perfect or error-free every single day. See the refund section below for what we do if something's actually broken.
If something is genuinely broken with your site or the service, and we're not able to fix it within your first 30 days, we'll refund that month. Just email us — no fighting required.
Email jonathan@thesiteforsites.com any time. A real person reads it and writes back.
